Three useful places to begin.

“I’m about to work on the Cedar proposal. Start a timer for that project.”

“Stop my timer and show me the saved entry.”

“Show the hours recorded on Cedar this week, grouped by person. Use those totals to make a chart.”

These are example prompts. Use projects and dates from your own workspace. Check the saved entry or report before relying on it. Charts are rendered by your assistant using the report data.

A connection you control.

  • Your AI client connects through MCP, a standard interface for tools and data.
  • You sign in to Hourquill and review the requested permissions.
  • Availability, setup and confirmation steps depend on the client and its plan.
  • Starting and stopping timers changes your records. Review action requests before allowing them.
  • An assistant can suggest starting a timer when you ask it to follow that workflow. Hourquill does not silently monitor your work.
  • Disconnect an assistant in Hourquill under Profile → Connected apps. Ask support if you need help revoking an authorization.

Use of a third-party AI service is subject to that provider’s terms and privacy policy. Your AI subscription is separate from Hourquill.
